dc.description.abstracten	This study aimed the experience of fatherhood in a rooming-in care. The outlined aims were: understand the father-man paternity in a rooming-in care and analyze the way nursing influences, in the perspective of the father-man, the fatherhood experience in a rooming-in care. This is a research with a qualitative, descriptive approach, which had Life Narrative as a methodological referential. This study was submitted to the Ethics Committee in a research of the Municipal Health Secretary-RJ, being approved through the opinion number 3.123.322. The set of the study was the rooming-in care of a public maternity, located in Rio de Janeiro. In total twenty fathers-men who were accompanying their babies and partners in the rooming-in care were interviewed. The interviews were recorded and transcribed in full. The data were coded in 181 thematic units, which submitted to the recoding process, originated 14 groupings from which an analytical category emerged : The experience of the Father-Man: from the Wish to the Birth of the baby and a subcategory: The Nursing and the (dis) paths to the building of paternity. From the theoretical framework of Afaf Meleis and by the vulnerability concept of Ayres it was observed that through the narratives that the birth of a child is an event of transition to this man; that now becomes a father-man, and that some conditioning inhibitors can interfere in this process of transition to fatherhood as the difficulty of getting a release at work to stay together, to follow up on appointments, the resistance of the institution of not allowing the father to stay overnight at the rooming-in care, besides to the observation of the team, which still recognizes only the woman as responsible for caring the baby. The role of father is fundamental in the puerperium, not only cooperating with the care related to the baby and bringing greater security to the woman, but also to establish a deeper connection with the newborn. Besides, there is also the question of vulnerability for the exercise of parenting/ parenthood which can cause a fragility in the health of women and children, since the development of initiatives that search to value healthy, responsible and active paternities contribute to the cognitive development of children, to the women empowerment and to the health and well being of men themselves. Therefore, it is up to the professional to direct his team to the development of assistance that includes an expanded view of the needs of the trinomial (father, mother and son), searching for capturing difficulties, insecurities and fears, as well as potentiate positive aspects, such as initiatives for the implementation of care, participation in educational activities, creating spaces to remove doubts, teach , educate and so have the possibility of contributing to the construction of paternity in each family that is assisted in a rooming-in care.	pt_BR

dc.description.abstractpt	Este estudo teve como objeto a vivência da paternidade no alojamento conjunto. Os objetivos delineados foram: compreender a vivência da paternidade do homem-pai no alojamento conjunto e analisar como a enfermagem influencia, na perspectiva do homem-pai, a vivência da paternidade no alojamento conjunto. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, descritiva, que teve como referencial metodológico a Narrativa de Vida. O estudo foi submetido ao Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde-RJ, sendo aprovado através do parecer nº 3.123.322. O cenário de estudo foi o alojamento conjunto de uma maternidade pública, localizada no Rio de Janeiro. No total foram entrevistados 20 homens-pais que estavam acompanhando seus bebês e companheiras no alojamento conjunto. As entrevistas foram gravadas e transcritas na íntegra. Foi utilizada a análise temática. Os dados foram codificados em 181 unidades temáticas, que submetidas ao processo de recodificação, originaram 14 agrupamentos, dos quais emergiu uma categoria analítica: A Vivência do Homem-Pai: do Desejo ao Nascimento do Bebê e uma subcategoria: A Enfermagem e os (Des)caminhos para a Construção da Paternidade. A partir do referencial teórico de Afaf Meleis e pelo conceito de vulnerabilidade de Ayres, observou-se através das narrativas que o nascimento de um filho é um evento de transição para este homem, que agora se torna homem-pai, e que alguns condicionantes inibidores podem interferir neste processo de transição para a paternidade, como a dificuldade de conseguir uma liberação no trabalho para acompanhar nas consultas, a resistência da instituição de não permitir a permanência do pai no período noturno no alojamento conjunto, além do olhar da equipe, que ainda reconhece somente a mulher como responsável pelo cuidado ao bebê. O papel do pai é fundamental no puerpério, não só cooperando com os cuidados referentes ao bebê e trazendo maior segurança para a mulher, mas também para estabelecer uma conexão mais profunda com o recém-nascido. Além disso, surge também a questão de vulnerabilidade para o exercício da paternidade/parentalidade, o que pode ocasionar uma fragilidade na saúde de mulheres e crianças, uma vez que o desenvolvimento de iniciativas que buscam valorizar paternidades saudáveis, responsáveis e ativas contribuem para o desenvolvimento cognitivo das crianças, para o empoderamento das mulheres e para a saúde e o bem-estar dos próprios homens. Portanto, cabe ao profissional direcionar sua equipe para o desenvolvimento de uma assistência que contemple uma visão ampliada das necessidades do trinômio (pai, mãe e filho), buscando captar as dificuldades, inseguranças e receios, assim como potencializar aspectos positivos, como as iniciativas para execução do cuidado, a participação em atividades educativas, criando espaços para retirar dúvidas, ensinar, educar e assim ter a possibilidade de contribuir para a construção da paternidade em cada família que é assistida no alojamento conjunto.	pt_BR
