dc.description.abstracten	This research will analyze the images of Afro-Bahian, Afro-Colombian and Afro-Cuban women, symbols of their respective countries based on social and cultural performance, conceived in the late 19th and early 20th centuries by different costumbristas and photographers. I intend to reflect on how the transmuted elaboration over time of this way of dressing was constructed and typified as an idealized image. Using as research objects the imagery constructions that speak of the identities of these women and that circulated in lithographs, postcards and photographs. I try to analyze the dynamics that surround the production, circulation and possible readings of these objects in order to understand the social dynamics that guide them.	pt_BR

dc.description.abstractpt	Esta pesquisa analisou as imagens das mulheres afro-baianas, afro-colombianas e afro- cubanas, símbolos de seus respectivos países a partir da performance social e cultural, concebidas no final do século XIX e início do século XX por distintos costumbristas e fotógrafos. Pretendeuse refletir, como a elaboração transmutada ao longo do tempo dessa forma de vestir foi construída e tipificada como uma imagem idealizada. Tendo como objetos de pesquisa as construções imagéticas que falam das identidades dessas mulheres e que circularam em litogravuras, postais e fotografias, procurou-se analisar as dinâmicas que envolveram a produção, circulação e leituras possíveis destes objetos com o intuito de perceber as dinâmicas sociais que os norteiam.	pt_BR
