dc.description.abstracten	This work defends the thesis that artistic expressions, more specifically the Performing Arts, can serve as a way of transforming situations of traumatic suffering through the repetitions inherent in the rehearsals of a theatrical play. This research, therefore, will focus on the transformative nature of the elaboration of themes related to pain, suffering and trauma, situated within the field of Memory, Subjectivity and Creation. The “Clélia Case” will serve as the starting point for this proposal, and, as a case study, will allow us to verify our thesis in practice. It involves the experience of staging a theatrical play whose creative process demonstrated that it was possible the elaboration of pain and suffering by a seventy-one years old theatre student. In order to theoretically substantiate this thesis, we will revisit the idea of Eternal Return of the same as found in the work of Friedrich Nietzsche and its unfolding as the Eternal Return through difference, in repetition, by Gilles Deleuze. With the philosophical structure defined, we will proceed towards the concept of trauma according to the psychoanalysts Sigmund Freud and Sándor Ferenczi, to then analyze the interpretation that best aligns with this research: the one that considers the possibility of elaborating traumatic suffering through creative repetition. In this sense, we will complement our case study with certain artistic manifestations, mainly from the field of performing arts, that carry with them new possibilities of memory.	pt_BR

dc.description.abstractpt	Este trabalho defende a tese de que as manifestações artísticas, especificamente as Artes Cênicas, podem ser um meio de transformação de sofrimentos traumáticos através das repetições inerentes aos ensaios teatrais. A pesquisa foca no caráter transformador da elaboração de temas como dor e trauma, no campo da Memória, Subjetividade e Criação. Utiliza o “Caso Clélia” como estudo de caso — a montagem de uma peça com uma aluna de 71 anos. A fundamentação teórica resgata o Eterno Retorno de Nietzsche e o Eterno Retorno pela diferença de Deleuze, conectando-os aos conceitos de trauma em Freud e Ferenczi, analisando a transformação do sofrimento pela repetição criativa e novas possibilidades de memória.	pt_BR
