| dc.description.abstracten | The research Involvement and sharing: experiences of environmental education with children in the city of Rio de Janeiro investigates Environmental Education practices from a decolonial perspective, grounded above all in the thought of Nêgo Bispo, Ailton Krenak, and Luiz Rufino, and in the concept of desemparedamento (unenclosing) proposed by Léa Tiriba. In the face of the worsening climate and civilizational crisis and the growing disconnection between children and nature territories in urban contexts, the research seeks to understand the educational potentialities that emerge from the encounter between children and the forest, contributing to the construction of other modes of relation between human and more-than-human beings. The investigation was built around an articulation between Colégio Pedro II – Campus Humaitá I and Parque do Martelo, an Atlantic Forest fragment located approximately 650 meters from the school. With a group of first- and second-grade children, the project Ecofluência na Floresta was created, promoting systematic encounters within the park's territory. Methodologically, the research articulates intervention-research, cartography, and the counter-colonial theoretical-playful methodology, understanding knowledge as a collective production constructed through the paths, experiences, and affectations lived during fieldwork. The study engages with different fields of academic knowledge, questioning the legacy of coloniality in education and the modern separation between human beings and nature. Against this logic, it advocates for a rhizomatic, more-than-human Environmental Education committed to Afro-Indigenous knowledges, recognizing the interdependence among all beings and the importance of territories as spaces of learning, belonging, and knowledge production. The analyses show that children's involvement with the forest fosters sensitive, affective, and embodied learning, producing bonds of belonging with the planet and with life. The research reaffirms Environmental Education as a field of resistance against contemporary socio-environmental collapse and highlights the importance of eco-pedagogical practices that strengthen the relationship between children, nature, and community, investing in the formation of ecological subjects committed to the defense and continuity of life. | pt_BR |

| pt_BR |
